MOJAVE MA-1000DS
Inspired by some of the most celebrated vintage microphones
David Royer, the TECHNICAL GRAMMY® Award-Winning microphone designer, has drawn inspiration from the most revered microphones of the past to create a contemporary tube microphone. This microphone features a new old-stock 5840 tube, a 251-style capsule, and a custom-designed transformer crafted by Coast Magnetics. The result is a microphone with a sweet, airy top end, mids that provide a sense of "you-are-there" realism, and an accurate yet commanding bottom end.
The Signature Series has undergone exhaustive field testing, pitted against microphones that often come with a price tag of $20,000 or more. The results consistently elicit a resounding "Wow," typically reserved for the most prized vintage microphones. When you push up the fader and listen, you'll say "Ahhh!" With unmatched performance, reliability, and quality, we are confident that you'll find Mojave's new Signature Series microphone to be a true New American Classic.
